The Havelock is a typical Scottish "pub with rooms" with five comfortable well-equipped en suite bedrooms. Decor has a light and airy sea-side feel. Rooms are sold on a "room only" basis. However, there is the option to purchase breakfast served at the sister hotel (Braeval Hotel) two doors along from the Havelock. Alternatively, a "Grab 'n' Go" take-away breakfast is available to purchase.
The Public Bar in the Havelock is popular with locals who drop by for a game of pool, televised sports and the Tuesday Pub Quiz. There’s a good range of lagers, beers and bottled ales along with an interesting selection of gins, whiskies and cocktails on offer.
The Havelock is popular locally for good quality bar meals. In particular, pizza freshly baked in a stone based pizza oven and sizzle platter steaks.
The Havelock is easy to find. It overlooks Nairn's Central Beach and the open grass area known as "The Links". It is 2 minutes walk from the town centre and a short distance from the Bus and Train Stations.
