Highland Belfry is a stylish first floor apartment in an elegant Victorian church set amongst trees on the edge of Braemar, which has been converted with great flair and imagination, whilst retaining many original features.
The spacious but cosy sitting room has a feature lancet window at its heart and plenty of comfortable seating. It is partly open to the kitchen/dining room and there are two bedrooms and a family bathroom. Outside, the shared grounds to the rear (where red squirrels play) extend right down to the river where guests can fish.
The centre of Braemar (shops, restaurants, golf course) is only two minutes’ walk away. Walks lead straight out into the hills and there are the challenging Lochnagar, South Top and Ben Bhreac peaks to tackle. There are many fine castles to visit, including the Queen's summer residence Balmoral (9m).
