The Highland Lodge Estate is ideally situated in the heart of the Cairngorms National Park. This luxury accommodation is palatial enough to sleep up to 23 people and even comes complete with its very own hot tub and sauna!
The spacious and fabulously well-appointed Farm style kitchen comes equipped with two stainless steel gas range hobs, two double ovens, a microwave oven, 3 fridges, 2 dishwashers and a wine fridge, more than enough equipment to host any size gathering from a large formal dinner party to a High Tea snack. There also is a utility room with a further American style fridge/freezer, washer dryer and utility sink.
All of the lodge’s 8 bedrooms are beautifully decorated to reflect the tasteful heritage of the Estate. There are 3 King Sized bedrooms and 2 Double bedrooms with en-suites, freeview TVs, and plenty of storage. The other 3 of the Estate’s bedrooms are composed of our truly unique “Powder Bunks.” Designed after Swiss ski chalet private bunks, each self-contained private sleeping pod comes equipped with personal storage, reading lights, power for PCs or I-pods; some even have their own TVs—fun for kids and grown up kids too!
Of course, luxury accommodation would not be complete without private Wellness Spa, which includes underfloor heating, twin spa bath, walk in shower enclosure and sauna with views to the decked area and grounds. Large glass sliding doors lead from the wellness spa directly to the large decked area which includes a fire pitt, BBQ area, sunken hot tub and large dining table & benches.
The estate’s surrounding grounds fall in to two distinct areas: the massive 2 acre lawn area is ideal for kids of all ages to play outside while the remaining 24 acres, used for grazing sheep and highland cattle, await guests to discover its paths to the river’s banks for walking and fishing. In fishing season, guests have complimentary use our private trout beat.
