The space
This bright, spacious and fully refurbished apartment is on the second floor of a period tenement block, which dates from 1755.
The interior is classic with a modern twist, stylishly decorated and furnished in a timeless style. Expect all the comforts of a boutique hotel, with plenty of space to relax and plan your next Edinburgh adventure.
The large bright lounge has a dining recess, original twin sash and case windows which bring in lots of lovely natural light, ornate cornicing and working shutters. There’s a 40" smart TV with Netflix and other digital services plus a good quality docking station for music.
The ultra-comfortable hotel-style shower room has underfloor heating and a powerful shower. We provide a full range of toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand wash & body lotion) so you can travel light. The large bedroom is quietly located with a very comfortable king size bed, Egyptian cotton sheets, working shutters and lots of storage space. The dining kitchen has a dishwasher, microwave, washing machine and dining table, well stocked with complimentary breakfast cereals, milk, tea and good coffee. You’ll find all the kit you need if you want to cook.

Interaction with guests
We live close by and can be contacted before and during your stay. We will try our best to meet you on arrival so we can explain how everything works. We are both sociable and have lived in Edinburgh and Scotland for most of our lives so can offer you plenty tips on the best places to eat, drink and visit while enjoying your time in Edinburgh.
The neighbourhood
Thistle Street is the perfect location – an atmospheric cobbled street sitting between the New Town’s most famous streets (Princes Street, George Street, and Queen Street). Lined with independent boutiques, chic bars and some of the best restaurants in Edinburgh – you’re always in walking distance of great eating, shopping and sightseeing.
Getting around
The apartment is very central so walking to all of Edinburgh's main attractions is easy. Buses are regular and can take you anywhere in the City quickly. Taxis are easy to hail or call, from the airport a taxi will cost around £25. If you're driving there is metered parking directly in front of the apartment & also on the nearby streets (£3 per hr) there are also several car parks close by, the most reasonable being Waverley Station (5-10min walk) at £17 per 24hrs.
