The Lodge is set in 27 acres of beautiful parkland in Perthshire in Ducally Country Estate and very close to Gleneagles. There is so much to do on the estate with parkland walks, and mountain bikes available to hire on site, in addition the tremendous facilities included in the Leisure Centre are included in the cost of the rental. The Lodge is also located at the Gateway of the Highlands, so plenty of activities on the doorstep for the outdoor enthusiast - a lovely variety of walks are available at nearby Loch Tay, Loch Earn and Loch Katrine - make sure you take your camera - or for the more adventurous more strenous walks would be Ben Lawers, Schiehallion and Tarmachan Ridge. If walking is not your style then the location is great for anglers with a number of excellent fishing beats nearby - and the hotel can assist with fishing permits. If you are a keen golfer, there is an array of Golf Courses, the closest of course being Gleneagles at just 1.5 miles away.
On the estate there is a whisky bar and restaurant in the Country House Hotel which is open to non-residents. If you do want a spot of shopping, Perth is just a 15 minute drive, whilst Edinburgh and Glasgow are just over an hour away
