Charming stone built listed building on the Scottish Borders. Sleeps 6, dog friendly (accommodates 3 dogs). Perfect base to explore the Scottish Borders, Northumberland, East Coast and it's beaches and South East Scotland.
Inside, the centrally-heated accommodation is most comfortably appointed with a charmingly traditional ambience that is both relaxing and unpretentious. The large, bright sitting room overlooks both the rear courtyard (with parking) and the front garden and its many windows make it a very sunny place. It is kept extra cosy by the wood-burning stove which the comfortable seating is centred around.
The dining kitchen is incredibly spacious with plenty of space for everyone to dine in comfort. It is also flooded with light from its large windows and glazed doors. Also on this level is a handy shower room with WC.
Upstairs there are four bedrooms, two singles, a twin and a double, all of which are comfortable and of a good size. The configuration of the rooms means that this is a very versatile property for parties of assorted friends and family members!
Outside the gardens are enclosed and safe for children, with lawns for them to play on and a pleasant patio for parents to sit out.
The house is an excellent base for those who wish to enjoy this scenic and historic area while it’s quiet and secluded situation, combined with the fact that shops, eating places and pubs are just a short stroll away, make it a very convenient and desirable holiday home indeed.
