It is hard to believe that the peace and tranquillity of Inchmurrin is within such easy reach. Just 30mins from Glasgow city centre and a 15 minute ferry crossing from the car park on the mainland brings you to this idyllic island setting. This is the real Loch Lomond that few are privileged to see, passed over by the ever increasing hustle and bustle of our lives. There are no cars, no hurries, no pressure to do anything but relax and enjoy the islands natural beauty, peacefulness and superb views.
There is a wealth of natural beauty and history to be enjoyed on Inchmurrin, many lovely walks, quiet coves and clear water for swimming (yes, it does get warm enough!) It is also an ideal base for water sports, boating, and fishing.
There are three well-equipped holiday apartments adjacent to the bar and restaurant, and one secluded cottage available for rent. All have garden and stunning views over the loch. All bed linen, towels and electricity are provided free of charge. Boat moorings are free.
The bar and restaurant are open six days per week from Easter until October offering traditional Scottish hospitality, bar lunches and a la carte evening meals. We have an extensive wine list and a wide range of malt whiskies, including the Inchmurrin single malt.
