Invergordon is a Highland town which is popular with tourists, where cruise liners regularly dock down at the port during the summer months. There are lots of distilleries to visit in the town as well as in neighbouring Tain and Alness. Golfers will enjoy playing on the various courses in Tain and Dornoch. Fishing for beginners can be done at the stocked lochs near the cottage, and for the more experienced you can do some trout fishing in various locations nearby. For the more adventurous type, walk up 'Fyrish' and see the well-known monument at the top, which played a part in the history of the Highland Clearances. Whether you are on a relaxing holiday or one full of adventure, Juniper Cottage is the ideal base for your rural holiday.
