Karim Cottage is situated on the Balmoral Estate, in close proximity to Balmoral Castle. The property was built by Queen Victoria for Munshi Abdul Karim, her private secretary from India.
The extensive bungalow can sleep six guests in comfort. The accommodation consists of lounge with log burner, a 'snug' with views of the garden, large dining kitchen (electric cooker, microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher), laundry room (washing machine), utility room (with boiler, dutch maiden and tumble dryer), double bedroom and two twin bedrooms (one with a day bed), family bathroom with bath and shower, shower room with toilet.
There is a television, DVD player and Freesat in the lounge and also in the snug. Wifi reception is also available.
The maximum occupancy is eight guests- this requires one person to sleep on the day bed in the large twin bedroom, and another to sleep on the day bed located in the snug.
The property is connected to mains electricity and is heated by oil fired central heating, with a log burner in the lounge. Fuel for the fire is provided by the Estate.
