Kilconquhar Castle is a country estate situated in the heart of Fife offering a large range of self-catering accommodations ranging from 2 bedroom to 4 bedroom villas self catering units and a selection of hotel rooms.
The estate offers 120 acres of grounds for you to explore during your stay, with many activities available, ranging from outdoor tennis, putting, a golf driving range and horse riding. Our leisure team are on hand to arrange organised group activities within the estate - for example highland games, treasure hunts and orienteering.
Within the leisure centre we have a wealth of facilities for guests, which are all free of charge. These include a heated indoor swimming pool, saunas, snooker tables, a gymnasium, table tennis and a badminton court. The facilities are open from 8.00am through to 9.00pm at night.
Whilst the accommodation on the estate is self-catering, the estate also offers two restaurants for guests wishing to dine out. The Bistro is open throughout the week offering a range of meals from breakfast through to dinner. The Lindsay Room can be booked for private dining and events sitting up to 70 guests. All catering for the restaurants is arranged via our in-house catering team. For larger events and weddings we can offer the use of a luxury marquee which will sit up to 200 guests.
Elie, which is a 2 mile drive from the estate, offers a range of bars, restaurants and shops for guests who would like to explore the local area. Located at the harbour you will also find a water sports centre and yacht club, with a range of activities which include wind surfing, sailing, cannoning, pedal boats, inflatables and water skiing. Elie also has a great 18-hole golf course situated beside the coast and offering stunning views out to the Firth of Forth.
Further along the East Neuk coastline you will come to Anstruther, famous for its fish and chips and from where you can also enjoy a boat trip out to May Island or a visit to the fisheries museum.
