Welcome to Kilmaronock Manse. We offer deluxe B&B accommodation in a beautiful setting near Loch Lomond. Two Double en suite bedrooms with tv, wifi, and tea/coffee facilities, use of lounge and garden with BBQ.
The manse was originally owned by the Church of Scotland until recently, having housed ministers who preached at Kilmaronock Church close by over the years. It has been the focus of many great weddings and funerals as a major part of the local community and continues to function in similar vein today with its neighbouring Church at Gartocharn.
With its wide entrance hallway and original elegant staircase, the house offers a welcoming atmosphere. There is a beautiful sitting room with four long sash windows opening onto views of the mountains, where guests are welcome and a very pretty dining room with a large oval, white distressed table and chairs, where breakfast is served. There is also the choice of the cosy farmhouse kitchen with the Aga, if that appeals.
We offer two spacious bedrooms, painted in delicate Farrow and Ball colours, with dado rails and working wooded shutters. The rooms are furnished with top of the range limed oak beds with rattan headboards, in French Provencal style, and each have Sky TV. The ensuites have large deluxe orbital showers and are lined with beautiful Italian porcelain tiles. The wooden floors have been sanded and painted in old white which gives a wonderfully light and restful feel. Both rooms have lovely views.
