Fabulously situated right above the Cromarty Firth, 16 miles north of Inverness, and with breathtaking views across the water to the Black Isle beyond, Kiltearn Cottage is as comfortable inside as its surroundings are spectacular. It stands above the water, detached and quite alone in its own neat garden (furniture). The car can be brought right to the door and the house is all on one level, making it ideal for visitors of limited mobility.
Its situation is also perfect for exploring many parts of the north of Scotland – Loch Ness to the south, north to John o' Groats, or west to Ullapool and Torridon, so beloved of climbers and walkers.
There are shops and pubs at Evanton (1m), Alness (6m) has more, and Inverness has all facilities.
