Scapa View House is situated 3 miles outside of Kirkwall on a main bus route. It is our most recent addition to our self catering business. With its spectacular views of Scapa Flow, the Royal Oak buoy nearby and the North of Scotland can be seen on a bonnie clear day.
The other 4 properties are all located in Kirkwall, Orkney's capital, a mere 200 metres from St Magnus Cathedral (St Magnus Cathedral tour times). Also a mere stone's throw away are the Earls & Bishops Palaces Kirkwall . However, despite being central to some of Orkney's most beautiful attractions, Kingston Self Catering Houses and flats are also remarkably secluded, with their own private courtyard and garden, and all have been recently built or modernised to the highest standard so that you can relax after a busy day's sightseeing in perfect peace and luxury beside a woodburning stove or in a jacuzzi bath.
The heart of Neolithic Orkney is only a short drive from Kirkwall, here you can visit some of Orkney's greatest sites such as Skara Brae, Maeshowe, Ring of Brodgar, Standing Stones of Stenness and Ness of Brodgar .
Welcome packs are provided with some unique local produce. As all properties surround a large secluded garden, this would be a perfect base to accommodate any large parties up to 22 people.
