Kinloch Follart

Kinloch Follart, our nineteenth century manse occupies a loch side location on Loch Dunvegan, with the backdrop of the Macleod’s Table (local mountains) offering our guests the opportunity to escape and witness the tranquility of Skye at its best.

Our house built in the 1850’s, originally offered spacious accommodation for Ministers who were duty bound to offer somewhere to stay to anyone in need. It therefore feels appropriate that our house is now offering hospitality in a relaxed and welcoming environment, to discerning guests from all over the world.

Set in over two acres, our home is a short walk from the village of Dunvegan, which can be regarded as a well connected base to reach the rest of the island, with Portree, the 'capital' of Skye, within a half hour drive.

Based at Kinloch Follart, you will have a number of choices to create the best of your visit to Skye. From making the most of the outdoors with countless spectacular walks and nature experiences, to a number of attractions of historical importance.
