Kirkside Cottage is a brand new cottage in the heart of the pretty little fishing village of Tayvallich in Argyll, right on the shore of beautiful Loch Sween.

Kirkside Cottage is a stunning Lochside property set in the pretty fishing village of Tayvallich in the shores of Loch Sween.
Inside the double height sitting room has one wall made entirely of glass to showcase the amazing loch view and there is a very spacious dining kitchen, three bedrooms (two en suite) and a shower room. Outside is a charming covered seating area for use in all weather and there is also direct access down to the shore.
Tayvallich’s shop/café is just a couple of minutes’ walk and there is also an award-winning inn nearby. Lochgilphead (12m) has more extensive facilities including a swimming pool and golf course. Watersports are popular in the area and there are lots of lovely walks nearby. Boat trips run from Crinan (8m) out to the fascinating Corryvreckan whirlpool or the beautiful Isle of Jura, known for its famous whiskey. History enthusiasts will particularly enjoy a stop at Castle Sween (16m) and the prehistoric landscape at Dunadd Hill Fort.
