Situated in the heart of the popular Berwickshire seaside town of Eyemouth, Scotland, Kittiwake Cottage is a few minutes' walk to the harbour, beach, shops and restaurants. Dogs welcome.
This split level ground floor cottage offers comfortable accommodation over two floors, comprising a double bedroom, fully fitted kitchen and living area, bathroom and large, dry, internal cellar room for storage of bikes, diving equipment etc. There's also an outside garden sun terrace with seating area. There is free WiFi, electric heating and double glazing throughout, and a large choice of boardgames, cards etc in case it rains.
Kittiwake has its own street level private entrance which leads to the main hall. The living area and kitchen are directly off the hall on the right, and the bedroom and bathroom are on the right. The garden terrace is accessed straight up the stairs from the hall towards the back of the property and is a glorious sun trap in sunny weather!
There is free parking along Church Street directly outside the property and the free Harbour Road public car park is opposite the front of the property, where you can also charge electric vehicles. Please note there is some traffic noise at busy periods of the morning.
This accommodation would suit anyone who enjoy easy access to the shops and restaurants, which include some award winning local producers for both sit in and take away fresh fish. For a touch of romance, dine with a balcony view of the harbour and you may be lucky enough to see your fish landed before your eyes! There is a travel cot and high chair available for use if you wish – please contact the owner. Bed linen and bath sheets are provided for two guests, but more can be provided on request for the sofa bed.
