This delightful Victorian Town House has recently been refurbished and is maintained to the highest of standards. All rooms have free secure Wi Fi throughout, a comfortable guest lounge overlooking Tarbert Harbour, a free for guests to use PC with broadband internet access located in the lounge and a lovely Breakfast Room with a unique aspect over the Village.
There are two Standard Doubles, a Twin Bedded Room and a superior Double with a King size bed. All bedrooms are en suite with showers and are located on the first and second floors by stair access.
Directions
From Glasgow City M8 passed Glasgow Airport - follow the M8 and take the Erskine Bridge off ramp to the left onto the A82 to Loch Lomond. Follow the A82 along Loch Lomond until you reach Tarbet where you take the A83 to Inveraray and Campbeltown. Follow the road until Lochgilphead and then the village of Tarbert about 20 minutes from Lochgilphead. Knap Guest House is located directly opposite the Co-op on the corner of the harbour. Total from Glasgow approximately two to two and a half hours.
Getting there by railway:- Nearest rail station is Oban and this is about 50 miles from Tarbert. Travel by bus instead, would be recommended. There is a regular ( three times daily ) bus service from Glasgow with Scottish Citylink service 926 to Campbeltown leaving Glasgow Buchanan Street bus terminus at 09.00, 13.30 and 18.00 taking approx 3 hours. Bus stop for Tarbert only 3 or 4 minutes from Knap Guest House.
Getting there by aeroplane:- Nearest airport is Glasgow and directions by road from there same as car directions.
