Knock Steading is just a short walk away from Lochgair and Loch Fyne in a lovely location backing onto woodland. With ample parking and 2 seating areas to enjoy glimpses of Lochgair and Loch Fyne through the trees with the Cowal Peninsular beyond.
The private entrance leads into the fully equipped galley kitchen that has an electric hob and cooker, built in microwave oven, fridge/freezer etc.
Upstairs to the right is the main bedroom with king size bed and en-suite shower room. This large room has a relaxing area with television and dvd.The shower room has a washing machine and drier.
Upstairs to the left is the second bedroom/dining room with sofa bed.There is a table and chairs for 4 people and a built in wardrobe.
The Steading is most comfortable for 2 people but could accommodate up to 2 children as well.
Argyll has 1200 miles of paths for the use of walkers, cyclists and horse riders, with excellent fishing and kayaking everyone can enjoy the great Scottish outdoors.
Knock Steading is very well located for exploring Argyll and The Isles. The A83 passes through Lochgair with a bus stop for the Campbeltown to Glasgow service.
The popular town of Inveraray is just 20 mins. drive away with the Castle and Jail well worth a visit.
Just a few minutes drive away are the Ardcastle and Port Ann walks on the shore of Loch Fyne with marked routes through mixed conifer woodlands.
Crarae Gardens are a 10 min, drive away, Britain's finest example of an exotic Himalayan-style woodland garden.
Kilmartin Museum and cafe are about 20 mins. drive. Kilmartin Glen is one os Scotlands richest prehistoric landscapes and the museum collects and cares for all archeological objects found in Mid-Argyll.
