Knockanbuie Cottage is a picture-book, traditional cottage, standing alone in its own acre of garden, near the Speyside Way and in the heart of whisky country.

Knockanbuie Cottage is one of these houses that ticks all the boxes in terms of situation, style and comfort. In a delightful setting in the heart of the Highlands, near Grantown on Spey (8m, all facilities), and in an acre of its own enclosed garden (furniture, barbecue), it is about 150 years old, and created out of two crofter's cottages. With its thick stone walls and its slate roof it is the epitome of a traditional Highland home, while inside, it has been carefully furnished and refurbished by the owners for their own use, with all modern comforts.
The name Strathspey will resonate with walkers, fishermen and whisky lovers and at Knockanbuie you will have plenty of opportunity to indulge all these pleasures. It is also an excellent centre for touring, south to Braemar (50m) and Royal Deeside, north west to Inverness (46m), or north to the sunny and sandy Moray coast. You are also close to Aviemore (24m), lovely Loch Morlich and the Cairngorm.
