Whether your looking for Self Catering or Bed and Breakfast Lageorna is the perfect place to stay on the Isle of Eigg.
Combining traditional and contemporary design, our self catering cottage sleeping six and adjacent B&B are on the north-west side of Eigg. We look out to the magnificent Isle of Rum and are within easy walking distance of the long white sandy beaches of Laig Bay and the Singing Sands. Lots to see and do on The Isle of Eigg or you could simply sit back, relax and admire the view from the garden or decking area.
All this AND our restaurant serves fresh local produce, right on your doorstep.
Lageorna sits on our working croft in the crofting township of Cleadale. Wherever you look, there’s spectacular landscape and scenery from the Cleadale cliffs, to the long sands of Laig Bay.
Rich grasslands speckled with spring and summer wildflowers surround the cottage. You can enjoy rock-pooling, swimming, walking, cycling and bird watching on Eigg or simply relax or chill out with a good book. Sunsets to take your breath away whatever time of year.
A photographer’s heaven.
Lageorna self-catering cottage is a traditional stone-built crofthouse which has been completely renovated to create a contemporary yet cosy space that everyone can enjoy.
Warm with all mod cons, it still retains the original cosy feel that friends and families who have visited it over the years enjoy.
The house sleeps 6 and has:
1 Double bedroom downstairs
1 Kingsize ensuite shower bedroom upstairs
1 Twin bedroom upstairs
Z bed and cot available.
There is one downstairs bathroom, with bath, washbasin, WC, and overbath shower.
There is a reasonably sized living room with sofas, extendable dining table to comfortably seat six, coffee table, books, toys and games and stereo. The Kitchen has a full sized gas cooker, electric fridge, toaster and washing machine. The kitchen is fully equipped for up to eight people and has a small breakfast area.
There is a highchair in the house.
