The apartment is fully equipped with everything a couple would need for a short break. Minimum letting period is three days. With a fully equipped kitchen area, including oven, fridge, washing machine, coffee maker etc. Tea and Coffee are provided as well as jams and preserves. A welcome drink is included for lets of three days or more.
Where possible, if timings permit, airport or train pick -ups can be arranged.
The Library Apartment takes its name as it is overlooks the Fountainbridge Library, an Arts & Crafts inspired building. The library was built by publisher Thomas Nelson for the people of this area of Edinburgh in 1934. One of four throughout the city.
The surrounding area is being regenerated with the addition of restaurants, pubs and cafes as well as a cinema complex replacing the disappeared brewing industry of Edinburgh. Along with the Union Canal the area combines a student population and professionals along with traditional Edinburgh folk makes for a vibrant community.
The apartment benefits from being in a quieter area but still within walking distance of all major attractions of the city.
