Loch Cottage is right on the edge of Loch Fyne outside the tiny hamlet of Minard on the road down the west shore of the loch, about 12 miles south of Inveraray.

Minard is a tiny hamlet on the road down the west shore of Loch Fyne, about 12 miles south of Inveraray (all facilities, golf course, castle, jail). This is a lovely area for a holiday with woodland walks along the lochside, or more challenging walking in the hills behind. The National Trust Gardens at Crarae are just five minutes up the road. By continuing down the Mull of Kintyre you can catch ferries to Gigha and Arran or continue down to Carradale, Campbeltown and the beaches and golf course at Machrihanish.
Most comfortable cottage, peacefully situated right on the lochside, with a pebble beach in front, where you could bring a small boat or windsurfer. Good fishing can be had from shore or boat, and there is an abundance of wildlife in the area. There is a secluded garden to the side and a shared laundry room.
