Loch Gruinart House is situated in the North of Islay, at the head of Loch Gruinart and within the boundaries of the RSPB Loch Gruinart Nature Reserve. It enjoys a remote location but is a convenient base from which to discover what Islay has to offer all year round, including world famous whisky distilleries and a range of outdoor activities.
Loch Gruinart House is particularly well placed for those who wish to enjoy the exceptional birds and wildlife of this special island. Formerly a Post Office, the house has been run as a Bed and Breakfast establishment for over thirty years. In addition, the present owners have converted part of the house to provide a well-equipped, one-bedroom, self-catering studio perfect for two people. The studio has a double, en-suite bedroom and a bright and airy kitchen/living area.
