A lovely estate cottage that has just been comprehensively renovated to provide immaculate interiors with modern neutral colours throughout and fine crisp linens as well as all the equipment you could need for a great holiday.
The cottage is in a quiet spot down an estate road and sits on the hillside with two other estate cottages (one of which being Lochan Cottage No 3) and the views from the front windows are simply beautiful. You can watch the weather change across the moorland, sheep grazing and the river winding its way slowly down the glen.
Inside this cottage you have a very nice separate kitchen newly installed and with all the facilities you would expect and a separate dining room to enjoy long lazy meals whilst enjoying the view. The separate sitting room is very cosy and light with its wood burner – a pleasure at any time of year. Upstairs there are two bedrooms, both with twin/king size zipped beds so the accommodation is flexible whatever your party.
From here you can explore the local distilleries including the Famous Grouse at Crieff. Walking and cycling will be a pleasure and the nearby towns such as Dunkeld and Aberfeldy are a treat. A day trip to the Trossachs or Edinburgh are very feasible so this holiday house is well placed to enjoy Perthshire.
You must book this special cottage soon – whether it is a peaceful rural holiday or an active exploration – families or couples – this is a delight.
