Longfield
A charming country cottage nestled beside woodland yet a stones throw from Inverness
This lovingly decorated country cottage makes the ideal choice for a family break - Longfield has been equipped with everything you need for a relaxing stay. This homely cottage is surrounded by a large enclosed garden nestled on the edge of woodland.
Longfield has been furnished to a very high standard and the attention to detail with many lovely touches will make you feel very much at home. There are lots of options for relaxing inside - for cosy nights in the large lounge and dining space equipped with a log burner - just imagine relaxing with a dram after a day exploring The Highlands. A snug family room just off the kitchen makes for a great social space - with patio doors opening out to a deck area with outdoor dining space. There is also a small den off of the kitchen that kids will love to make their own - or adults can use it for catching up on some work at the desk.
The house is equipped with two large smart TVs - both have streaming apps for guests to login to their own accounts with. Fast fibre wifi means there is no trouble streaming your favourite movies or if you need to work remotely.
The kitchen is modern and fully equipped with everything you need. It includes a Tasimo coffee machine, dishwasher, a toastie maker, cookware and plenty of crockery & glassware. To the rear of the kitchen there is a utility room with washing machine, drier, sink and space to air any outdoor gear.
Upstairs you will find the three bedrooms, including a comfortable master double with dressing table and ample storage. This bedroom enjoys views to the woods behind the house. At the front of the house there are two rooms - a spacious twin room and a double room - both looking out towards a scenic view of Meall Mor.
The garden is fully enclosed and offers lots of space to play and explore. The aspect of the property and large garden means it enjoys sun most of the day. A decked area makes an ideal spot for coffee in the morning or unwinding after a busy day. There is storage for bikes and other outdoor kit in the garage.
Location
Longfield is in a fantastic location and offers the best of both worlds - easy access to Inverness but retaining the peace and seclusion of a countryside break.
