Set in the charming village of Town Yetholm in the Scottish Borders is Lyon Cottage, an inviting retreat perfectly placed for exploring the Cheviot hills.

Set in a pretty row in the village of Town Yetholm in the Scottish Borders is Lyon Cottage that is perfectly placed for exploring the beautiful Cheviot Hills. #
The charming sitting room has its original wooden beamed ceiling and is kept cosy by a wood-burning stove that is great for warming up after days spent outdoors. The kitchen has a large range cooker with a dining area alongside and upstairs are two bedrooms - a master double off a mezzanine with a modern en suite shower room and a few steps a twin up with a second family bathroom. Behind the cottage is a lovely enclosed suntrap garden with lots of mature plants and a little summerhouse with seating from which to admire it all.
For a small village Town Yetholm, and its counterpart over the river, Kirk Yetholm, are very well catered for with a village shop, an excellent butcher and the choice of two pubs, both of which serve delicious meals.
