Highland Park X M&W adventure accommodation
Setting up shop 8 years ago, we stalled ourselves as an ‘off-road Highland dining adventure’. No longer merely our story, it is with great excitement we launch our first Mac & Wild adventure accommodation in partnership with our fellow adventure loving friends at Highland Park. Located at our Falls of Shin restaurant site in the Scottish Highlands, 2 static, fully renovated Land Rovers complete with rooftop adventure tents plus one star gazing bubble pod are now available for hire. Join us to eat, sleep, adventure & drink whisky like a true Highlander.
Magically wild, reassuringly comfortable
We’ve been planning this for a while – envisaging action packed, but perfectly chilled & comfortable weekends welcoming adventure loving friends & tourists to our special place back home. The Highland Park X Mac & Wild ‘Camp’ allows guests first hand experience of the magic, scenery and endless wild adventures inspiring all we do, whilst ensuring they return to reality feeling refreshed and stress free.
Professional grade adventure equipment & comforts
Immense thought has gone into the accommodation set up. All guests enjoy access to private shower cubicles as well as our outdoor hot tub to help restore weary legs. Additionally, we’ve put together professional grade camping equipment to ensure you hit the trails running. We’ve included everything from welcome comfort boxes of basic groceries, bedding, lanterns, cool boxes, hammocks & telescopes for star gazing. Don’t forget your raincoat though!
and then there’s the dining experience…
Naturally we’re all about no compromise on food when sleeping under the stars. Located adjacent to our Falls of Shin restaurant, guests have the option of dining with us or cooking up a wild outdoor storm around our BBQ table.
Conveniently packed M&W Food Boxes
Again committed to stress free adventuring, we offer 4 convenient M&W food boxes, perfect for breakfast, lunch or dinner in the wild. Simply add a continental breakfast, full Scottish Breakfast, Burger or BBQ box to your booking and we’ll have them awaiting your arrival.
Keeping you hydrated
The Highlands has a reputation for hospitality. Sometimes that involves a shared dram or two with friends old or new. Why not add a bottle of Highland Park Whisky to your booking and we’ll have it ready to toast your arrival. Additionally, all your chilled beer, wine & spirit needs can be purchased from our on site shop at check in to save you carrying it with you on your journey.
Located smack in the middle of the North Coast 500
We’re nestled in the stunning Invershin Forest, between the East and West legs of the NC500 driving route Scotland has become so famous for. With nature on our doorstep, the adventures are simply endless and just waiting to be discovered. We’ve very happy to suggest activities to suits your interest – favourites include spotting migratory salmon leaping up the waterfall from the nearby viewing platform, catching a glimpse of deer walking through the woods, whisky in the woods whisky tastings, falling in love with the pair of fishing ospreys or simply foraging wild mushrooms for your dinner. If you time it right, the Northern Lights can even be seen due to the beautifully low levels of light pollution.
Because escaping feels so good!
Escapism is good for the soul. Rather like we need the city to remind us beards are better when groomed, we really know the value of the great outdoors for those living fast lifestyles
