“Maple Cottage in Quarriers Village... a beautiful apartment in idyllic and historic surroundings.... .”
Historic Quarriers Village is set in the tranquil Renfrewshire hills, just one mile from the rural towns of Bridge of Weir and Kilmacolm. This peaceful village consists of up to fifty individually designed sandstone villas known as cottages, each built to a unique specification resulting in a magnificent unspoiled Victorian setting.
Maple Cottage, or Greenock home as it was originally called, was built in 1881 and for many years was used to house destitute and orphaned children from all parts of Scotland.
In 2008 it was completely refurbished and now presents itself as four individual luxury holiday apartments which are now available.
