Margaret Street Cottage offers a peaceful setting for a relaxing break in the Highlands. On the shores of the Cromarty and Moray Firths, the area is acknowledged as one of the best places in Europe for spotting bottlenose dolphins. The ground floor consists of a traditional entrance that leads to a good-sized hallway and access to a comfortable lounge, kitchen/diner and bathroom. The lounge is furnished with a 3-piece suite, wood burning stove, coffee table, free-view colour TV/DVD and a selection of DVDs, books and games. The kitchen/ diner is modern, well-equipped kitchen with electric cooker, microwave, fridge, freezer, toaster, kettle, dining table with seating for six, and a range of pots, pans, crockery, glasses and utensils. The bathroom is a fully modernised bathroom with electric over-bath shower, basin, WC and heated towel rail. The upper floor consists of a staircase leading to the first floor with a double bedroom and a twin bedroom. All bedrooms have bedside cabinets, table lamps and clothes storage units. The twin room has a small fold down bed suitable for a young child. The outside is a fully enclosed garden at the rear of the house is mature and secluded. There is a patio with table and chairs. Parking is available outside the cottage at most times and additional parking can be found less than 50 metres away on the shore-side road. The washing machine and tumble drier are in a utility cupboard under the staircase. There is also an outside drying area. Guests have access to the entire property. We are the booking agent for the owners and can be contacted at our office in Dingwall during the following hours Monday to Friday 9:30 - 17:00 and Saturdays 9:30 - 12:00 prior to your arrival. Prior to your arrival we will email guests a contact number for the property owner or local housekeeper for your use should you require any assistance during your stay. There are numerous amenities within a 2-minute walk from the property. The property is in a quiet and tranquil fishing village in The Black Isle in the heart of the Highlands. A car is recommended when staying in the Highlands, however, this is not a necessity. There is a good bus service with routes running to Inverness. The nearest Airport is Inverness Airport, this is within a 25-minute drive. No smoking. Not suitable for pets. No parties or events. Check-in time is 4PM - 10PM. Check out time is 10am. Although housekeeping staff will clean the property after you leave, we respectfully ask all guests to clean and put away any plates, cups, glasses, etc they have used during their stay. All bed linen, towels (one hand towel and one bath towel per person), electricity, heating and Wi-Fi are included in the price. A starter pack of supplies includes toilet rolls, complementary sachets of coffee, sugar, teabags.
