The drive to Marino Lodge offers some of Scotland’s most spectacular scenery. Known as the ‘road to the isles’ with rugged mountains and quiet lochs, including Loch Eil, at the head of which the Glenfinnin monument can be seen which marks the raising of the Standard of Bonnie Prince Charlie in 1745. Surrounded by its own estate, Marino Lodge is modern, snug and warm and is the perfect holiday lodge for guests who hanker after room to roam and the stretching views across Loch Ailort and to the islands of Rhum and Eigg make it a unique setting in one of the most scenic parts of Scotland.
This impressive self catering holiday house provides comfortable accommodation. The small fishing port of Mallaig is only 23 miles away and offers boat trips to the Western Isles and it is not unusual to spot seals and even whales on these crossings. A mere four miles from the lodge at Glenuig is a great sandy beach and there are other beaches to discover and explore nearby. Fort William at the foot of the staggering Ben Nevis is 30 miles away offering a range of facilities including shops, restaurants and a swimming pool. Marino Lodge is a wonderful self catering holiday home in the heart of the west coast of Scotland.
