Stromeferry has a launching slipway for visitors who wish to bring a boat, enjoy leisure pursuits of sailing, kayaking, fishing, diving and hillwalking or take the scenic train journey to Inverness. The picturesque resort of Plockton has a wide choice of shops, Kyle of Lochalsh is 9 miles to the south west, visit the Eilean Donan Castle, Brochs of Glenelg, climb up the falls of Glomack or wander through the Lochalsh woodland garden. Stromeferry is an ideal base for touring this part of Scotland with Lochcarron, Applecross and Torridon to the north, along with Kyle and Isle of Skye to the south west
The accommodation offers TWO bedrooms: 1 double and 1 twin. Bathroom: with shower over bath. Lounge: with wonderful views, open fire, Freeview TV, DVD and hi-fi. Hall/diner. Kitchen: fridge, freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer and microwave. Outside: enclosed garden with seating. Amenities: towels & bed linen included. Electric included June, July, August and September, 1 bag of coal supplied. 2 dogs welcome. Location: Stromeferry train station within walking distance. Shop and pub 6 miles at Balmacara. Additional Info: short breaks are charged as follow: 3 and 4 nights at 75% of the full weekly rates, 5 and 6 nights will be the full weekly rate. Arrival: 4pm.
