The Mey Hotel is a former coaching inn and is very conveniently located directly on the NC500, in the village of Mey, less than 4 miles away from the Pentland Ferry offering daily crossings to and from the Orkney islands and approximately 7 miles from John O Groats.

Currently there are 5 well-appointed, recently refurbished rooms situated around the courtyard area, these rooms were originally the old stable block. Each room has a modern en-suite shower room and are all located at ground level. One of the rooms has been purpose built as a mobility accessible room and this can be prepared as a twin or a super king room.

The lounge bar is cosy & friendly giving you the perfect place to relax and sample a few of the local drinks on offer. If you are keen to try some true Scottish whisky then our taster flights are a great way to sample different flavours before you choose your perfect serve. Our restaurant offers delicious home cooked evening meals for our residents to enjoy.

'Heggies' is our stylish newly opened coffee shop offering a selection of great coffee, tea and light lunches. (open on Saturdays, Mondays & Tuesdays)
