This self-catering accommodation consists of lounge, dining area, modern kitchen with dining table & chairs, toilet and laundry room. Upstairs there are three bedrooms sleeping up to five guests and one bathroom with shower, toilet and washbasin. The cottage has a shared entrance with the neighbour. There is a stone patio and the garden has lovely views across the open fields to the hills beyond. There is parking for one car opposite the property.
Just a few minutes' walk from the cottage is the Lade Inn, where you can enjoy a delicious meal and a great evening of folk music on Friday and Saturday evenings. There are many good walks in the surrounding area and the route 7 cycle track is just a few minutes away. There are many fine hills to climb, including the munros of Ben A'an, Ben Vorlich and Stuc a Chroin. Half a mile to the east lies the busy little town of Callander where you will find a good variety of shops, cafes and restaurants. Callander welcomes visitors to the 18-hole golf course. You can also visit the Bracklinn Falls, the Callander Crags and the Meadows. Lochs Venechar, Achray and Lubnaig are a short drive away. Following the Trossachs trail to Aberfoyle you will pass Loch Katrine and the steam ship, the David Marshall Lodge and Go Ape.
