A very warm welcome awaits you in our apartment, set in the picturesque town of North Berwick, within the conservation area. This bright and comfortable quiet two bedroom apartment is fully modernised to a high standard. It is situated close to the High Street, the Lodge, West Links Golf Course and the Glen Golf Course and only one minutes walk from the East Beach.
Ideal for all types of holiday maker, 4 Milsey Court is centrally situated and convenient for an attractive range of shops, golf courses, leisure amenities and the Scottish Seabird Centre.
Accommodation is available for 1 - 4 people, with the double bedroom boasting a kingsized bed with televesion and a very comfortable twin bedroom - however, a Z-bed can be brought in if necessary for parties of 5. Children are welcome and a cot and high chair are also available on request.
The kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances including washing machine, dish washer, fridge/freezer, electric oven and ceramic hob, microwave, kettle, toaster and radio. The high capacity combi-boiler provides continuous hot running water.
The bathroom has WC, wash hand basin and a an extremely powerful Mira Power Shower over the bath. There is also a hand rail in the bath to help those less able get in and out.
The lounge is comfortably furnished with sofa and 2 chairs a dining table and has a TV and DVD player with a large collection of DVDs for you to view. There is full BT Wifi available and also a docking statsion for an Iphone/ipod.
The property is centrally heated and there is an outside drying area. From the private patio garden to the front of the property there are good views southwards towards North Berwick Law and northwards to the sea. Garden furniture is provided for our guests exclusive use.
Free parking is available just outside the apartment on School Road, in adjacent streets or across the road in the library car park (at the owners risk).
Bed linen and towels are included within the cost, as is heating and electrical costs.
Bicycle storage is available by prior agreement.
The apartment is conveniently located to walk to local shops, pubs and restaurants, visit the seabird centre, to visit the local beaches and harbour, to explore the beautiful coast line and East Lothian countryside, to walk the John Muir footpath or up North Berwick Law, to visit Edinburgh by car or train and for playing golf on some of Scotlands finest golf courses.
Other things to do in the area include, water sports, fishing, boat trips to the Bass Rock or surrounding islands, visiting castles, bird watching, motor museum, museum of flight, leisure/swimming pool, play areas, library and of course we boast some of the best golf courses in the world.
Directions
From the south - Travel north on the A1 to Dunbar then follow signs (A198) to North Berwick (approx 12 miles).
From the north - Travel south on the Edinburgh city bypass (A720) onto the A1, then follow signs for North Berwick (A198).
Getting there by railway:- Direct service from Waverley Station to North Berwick. From station follow signs for town centre and head east along High Street towards Quality Street. Turn right onto B1346 (East Road) and turn left onto School Road. 4 Milsey Court is on the left hand side opposite the local museum/library.
Getting there by aeroplane:- From Edinburgh Airport (via airport bus or taxi) head for Waverley train station or St Andrews Square Bus Station.
From Edinburgh Airport (by car) follow signs for city bypass (A720) on A1 then follow signs for North Berwick (A198).
