Escape to the Scottish Highland countryside - near to Beauly village, Inverness city and world-famous Loch Ness - to a comfortable cedar, self catering holiday chalet - laze out on the deck, watch wildlife in the garden, snooze to the sound of the gently flowing stream or toast your feet in front of a wood-burning stove - recharge in nature, reconnect with people you love, and rediscover a passion for life unplanned.
Two, cosy waterside homes-away-from-home, each with their own woodland garden, fabulous mountain and countryside views and Reelig Glen forest walks on the doorstep - both have everything you need for the perfect Highland getaway! Where in the World is Moniack?
We're situated in a gem of a Highland glen, just off the start of the North Coast 500 touring route. Our chalets are just four miles from the lovely Highland village of Beauly, with cafés, gift shops, an historic priory, river walks and shopping for provisions. Turn off here to visit spectacular Glen Affic wilderness, forests and walks. Inverness city is eight miles away - for larger shops and cafés and restaurants - visit Inverness Castle, the river Ness and Ness Islands walks and head to the start of the Great Glen and Loch Ness, for monster hunting, more castles, lochs, forests and mountains!
Moniack Lodges is a small, friendly, family-run business – your hosts, Antonia and Richard, live a short distance away, so are on hand to give a warm welcome and to share information about their favourite activities, picnic spots and walks, etc., when needed.
