Inside our cottage there is a the traditional fitted kitchen has a conventional and Aga cooker and a living room with an open fire.The lounge shares the aspect to the garden and has french doors. There is a TV and a dvd player.
There are three bedrooms, a bathroom, a separate shower room plus a large utility room. The utility room is a key feature of this cottage in the country and it has plenty of hooks, benches and floor space for sorting out your gear or a holding point for wet dogs! There is a washer dryer that can be used if required.
There is a large bathroom with a shower over the bath. The separate shower room is conveniently located next to the twin rooms
The mature garden with an ornamental pond has views over woodland and open hill. The estate has an open access policy and cottage guests are welcome to explore the many paths and tracks.
It is a perfect base for walking, cycling and generally enjoying outdoor life. You can do all this from the back door or choose to drive short distances to specific locations. Many of our guests are nature enthusiast and walkers. Others who want a base for touring round Scotland enjoy returning to the Aga warmed kitchen at the end of a long day.
The estate offers fishing and game and private stalking can be arranged. There are good watersport and mountain bike providers in the area and a plentiful supply of golf courses if this is your vacation pastime
