Muiredge provides the perfect setting for going off grid, with abundant natural heather moorland and woodlands for you to explore, plenty of quirky villages and towns to potter around and the world famous Gleneagles Hotel just a short walk away. However with huge skies, beautiful views and local produce delivered to site you might not want to venture far. We can’t wait to welcome you to this very special corner of Scotland.
Choose from our furnished bell tents, each located on an elevated deck with a bespoke shower pod or our ensuite shepherds hut and railway carriage for a truly unique break in the heart of rural Scotland. Each accommodation includes a fire pit and barbecue to enjoy well into the evening.
The original sheep barn has been renovated into a communal space, complete with comfy seating and a wood burning stove making it ideal for a social gathering or a wee dram after sundown.
We are eco conscious with a very low carbon footprint, using solar power and natural materials from the site in the construction of our accommodation. We also love our guests to get involved to help us improve the biodiversity of the area with the planting of trees and hedgerows to create habitats for our rich wildlife population.
We are very conveniently located with many of the attractions within the central belt of Scotland accessible within an hour whilst also on the border of the highlands and the stunning landscape and scenery. We are only 3 miles from the A9 and Gleneagles Railway Station. This makes Muiredge an ideal base from which to explore Scotland either by car or public transport.
