This is an archetypal Perthshire rural cottage set amidst the prettiest of countryside just a few miles from Dunkeld. It is a delightful area with no shortage of activities and miles of wonderful walks and lovely views.
Muirybutts is a much loved family holiday house and is full of character, history and comfort. Recent refurbishments have resulted in luxurious and light bedrooms and bathrooms and with one en suite room on the ground floor where there is good sleeping accommodation for less mobile guests. The sitting room has a traditional feel and delightful additions of tweed and muted tartan fit well with the surroundings. A welcoming wood burner brings warmth and joy at the end of the day. The dining kitchen is also traditional but is well equipped and comfortable.
Elsewhere there is a spacious utility room – ideal for outdoor clothes and boots after a country walk or a spot of fishing. The always popular village of Dunkeld is 10 minutes away and very close by is the famous Loch of the Lowes with its ospreys to marvel at. Numerous golf courses are in the area as well as great fishing opportunities whether trout or salmon. This is an area where you will happily keep as busy as you like and will return each day to this charming cottage in the country.
