The property is a delight to return to after a day out exploring the magnificent surrounding area with its numerous beautiful and pristine beaches. Mungasdale House also offers a variety of rural pursuits including fly only and hill loch fishing for brown trout which can be reached on foot. There are great opportunities for walks where you can explore the wonderful west coast landscapes. Inverewe Garden, recognised as one of the finest gardens in Europe and a mecca for garden lovers, is just 13 miles south in Poolewe. Both Ullapool and Gairloch provide shops, restaurants, boat trips and golf amongst other things, whilst journeying through some spectacular scenery that you will find only in this stunning Ross-shire region.
