The Neids, on the Angus/Perthshire border and reached by a ½ mile of track from the road, is a traditional stone built cottage, beautifully situated in a small grove of trees with a fenced garden and surrounded by wildlife. It is a perfect holiday hideaway in the lovely rolling foothills of Glenisla. The River Isla, only 250 yards from the door, provides a perfect spot for paddling, picnics and barbecues. The interior is spacious, cosy and comfortable with an open fire in the L-shaped living room. One bedroom is en suite with a super king sized bed. Upstairs, the playroom and extra bedroom are ideal for children.
Kirkton of Glenisla (3m) has a pub/restaurant while Kirriemuir (8m), Alyth (6m) and Blairgowrie (12m) have all facilities including golf courses. The Cateran Trail passes nearby.
The Angus Glens provide wonderful opportunities for walking, riding, fishing and skiing in Glenshee (25 mins). Within easy reach are Glamis Castle, Royal Deeside and Blair Castle, Dundee (25m), St Andrews (30m) and Perth, (30m).
