This charming detached stone cottage was once the local Doctors surgery with many locals remembering their visits there as children. Having been lovingly transformed, Netherby is the perfect location to explore all the sights, attractions and activities that Arran has to offer.
Directly opposite the cottage, through the gap in the wall and down the steps is the gorgeous beach of Whiting Bay with beautiful views of the Holy Isle. Perfect for long walks, swimming in the clear water, building sandcastles, exploring rock pools and if you are lucky spotting dolphins.
Whiting Bay has plenty to keep you occupied with tearooms, restaurants, 18 hole golf course, putting green, bowling green and local shops all within walking distance from the cottage. There are also many walks to enjoy nearby, in particular Glenashdale falls and the Giants Graves or Kingscross for a close up view of the Holy Isle.
This cosy cottage sleeps four in the quaint upstairs bedrooms with their traditional sloped ceilings - fall asleep while listening to the gentle waves. There is a comfortable living room with holiday reading, Smart tv and DVD player. Just off the living room is the fitted kitchen, fully equipped with dining for four. The bathroom has a large stand-alone claw foot bath, perfect for long soaks, and separate shower cubicle.
