The caravan site offers direct access to a clean and sandy beach which is ideal for sailing, water sports and sea angling. The peaceful and picturesque location also provides an ideal base for exploring the Forests and Rhins of Galloway - one of the magnificently unspoilt corners of Scotland.
Whether you prefer a leisurely walk or a spot of bird watching, the area surrounding New England Bay Caravan Club Site has a wealth of wild flowers and bird life to explore. The nearby RSPB Visitor Centre will provide a range of entertainment and education for you and your family. Sporting enthusiasts visiting the caravan park will be well catered for with golf courses, green bowling, pony trekking, swimming pool and sports centre conveniently located in the nearby town of Stranraer. Also nearby there are a number of lovely gardens to visit which include Port Logan Botanic Gardens, Ardwell Gardens and Logan House Gardens, all about 10 minutes drive from the site, and Castle Kennedy Gardens which is around 20 minutes from the site. For keen birdwatchers there is the Lighthouse and RSPB Reserve at Mull of Galloway. Golfers are spoilt for choice, with a number of nearby courses offering stunning views over the Lochside. The Titanic experience in Belfast is an easy excursion from the site and a great day out for kids.
