A former Dovecot and coach house for the adjacent Gunsgreen House an 18th century Adam house, Niisbet's Tower overlooks the historic fishing port of Eyemouth harbour.
The Tower has been restored and refurbished to provide comfortable accommodation for a couple wishing to explore the unspoilt Berwickshire and Northumberland coast and countryside. We also provide 2 small cots for children aged under 5. Please contact us before booking. Small dogs welcomed but again please check before booking. The area is popular with walkers, divers and surfers, there is a choice of sandy beaches in Eyemouth and at nearby Coldingham Sands and an 18 hole golf course close by. Birdwatchers and walkers will enjoy the National Trust Reserve at St Abbs Head; historic Berwick-upon-Tweed is just a 10 minute drive away; Holy Island (Lindisfarne) a little further south; Alnwick with its Castle and gardens about 40 minutes drive; Edinburgh, Melrose and the central Borders area can be reached within an hour.
