Corrachbeag was purchased and renovated in 2012 and is near the picturesque port of Kinlochbervie, round the corner from Durness. It is also the most north westerly village in the UK.
The cottage is located just outside the village on the loch side allowing unparralled views over the sea loch, and inland towards the mountains of north west Sutherland.
It is a traditional crofters cottage, with two bedrooms, one double one twin, with large windows giving views across the loch. On the ground floor are the kitchen/diner, lounge and family bathroom. Outside is ample parking for two cars, a large grassy area with seating and for the adventurous you can walk down to the side of the loch where there are mussels a low tide, and you may see seals, otters and other wildlife.
You may also have a visit from the local sheep in the garden!
For a secluded getaway, the cottage is unrivalled, located down below the road for peace and quiet and complete privacy, yet only a 1/4 mile to the local shops, petrol station, hotel and restaurant.
