THE LOOKOUT - sleeps 5, this apartment has a kingsize bedroom and double bedroom, each with its own shower room. The latter, housed in the tower, has its own separate mezzanine living space. The picturesque port of Stromness, with its steep and narrow closes, is full of interest including shops, Stromness Museum and the renowned Pier Arts Centre .
To the East and South of Kirkwall is a farmed landscape rich with sandy beaches, coastal walks, lots of historical interest and a number of craft workshops and tearooms. You can cross the Churchill Barriers, and visit the Italian Chapel , built by Italian prisoners during World War II, which stands today as a monument to their fortitude.
To the North lie more inhabited islands, a ferry journey from Kirkwall, each with its own character and landscape. The ferry terminal for departures to the North Isles is just minutes away from the apartments. Orkney Ferries timetables can be found here
