Old Dairy Cottage is one of two adjoining holiday apartments which were converted from the original outbuildings of the former Templehall Dairy. Set in a quiet Borders village with a backdrop of the rolling Cheviot foothills, the cottage provides cosy and comfortable self-catering accommodation for up to 3 adults.
The cottage features a large first floor bedroom with double and single beds and en suite toilet. Downstairs is a bright, spacious living room with dining area, a well equipped kitchen and a shower room. A patio with views of the surrounding hills is easily accessed from the living room. An additional child can be accommodated, and bedding for a sofa bed can be provided upon request.
Visitors to Morebattle can enjoy the idyllic country setting and village amenities, while also being close to the historic market towns of Kelso and Jedburgh. The village is directly on the St. Cuthbert's Way walking route and is well located as a base for cycling, hillwalking or exploring the heritage sites and scenic attractions of the Borders and Northumberland.
The cottage is only steps away from the village inn, the Templehall Hotel, where evening meals and cask ales can be enjoyed (seasonal opening times may vary). A well stocked community run village shop and post office is just up the street. The community field behind the cottage is a safe open space popular with our dog owning guests.
Free wi-fi is accessible throughout. Private car parking is provided to the rear of the property. Dogs are welcome subject to a charge of £20 per dog.
