Most of the Isle of Skye comes with sensational views as standard but the panorama from our cottages has to be among the best on the island, tucked beneath the flat- topped Macleod’s Table, looking out towards the Cuillin and around to Loch Dunvegan. Reached by way of a farm track, Osdale is a special place offering peace and seclusion. Yet it's only a 10-minute drive to Dunvegan, with local shops good places to eat, and 10 minutes in the other direction gets you to the world-renowed Three Chimneys restaurant. We have two cottages here - the Farmhouse and the Byre that are rentable separately or together. Both accommodate up to four guests and three pets.
The Farmhouse is a traditional, stone-built cottage with two bedooms upstairs - a king and a twin. Downstairs there is an open-plan living area with a wood burner, an eat-in kitchen, family bathroom plus utility room with laundry facilities, and a boot room for coats, muddy boots and dogs.
The Byre also has 2 bedrooms that can be arranged as either super king beds or twins. One bedroom is on the ground floor with an ensuite. The Byre has a large double-height living area with wood burner and a spacious, sociable kitchen. There is a family bathroom and large bootroom too with laundry facilities.
The cottages are located on the Isle of Skye's North West peninsula.. The are plenty of good walks on offer, some straight from your doorstep. Access to Skye's famous attractions - Neist Point, Coral Beach, and Dunvegan Castle are all nearby as are some of Skye's best restaurants including The Three Chimneys, Edinbane Lodge and Loch Bay. Upon booking, we provide guests with a digital guidebook. This has lots of advice on walks, places to eat and things to do on Skye so the holiday planning can start straight away.
