Most of the Isle of Skye comes with sensational views as standard but the panoramas from our cottages have to be among the best on the island, tucked beneath the flat- topped outcrops of Macleod’s Table and looking out towards the Cuillin Ridge around to Loch Dunvegan. Reached by way of a farm track, it’s a special place – 2 holiday cottages, the Farmhouse and the Byre, rentable separately or together. The former is a stone-built 2-bed cottage with an open-plan living area, a wood-burner and underfloor heating, plus utility room with a washing machine and a boot room for coats, muddy boots and muddy dogs, who are especially welcome at both cottages. The Byre also has 2 bedrooms and ground floor underfloor heating, together with a large kitchen and a double height living room heated by a wood-burner and a utility room with washing machine.
The cottages are located on the Isle of Skye's North West peninsula.. The wilderness of the Macleod's Tables provides a majestic backdrop and offers plenty of great walks straight from your doorstep. Although only 3 miles from Dunvegan with local shops and good places to eat, your location offers real privacy and you get to enjoy that remote island feel. Access to Skye's famous attractions - Neist Point, Coral Beach, and Dunvegan Castle are all nearby as are some of Skye's best restaurants including The Three Chimneys, Edinbane Lodge and Loch Bay.
