Owl Cote is at the end of a beautiful coastal farm (hard surface) track enjoying uninterrupted views of the sea, with the Murray Isles and Ardwall Island as the perfect backdrop. Memorable sunsets from the upper first floor balcony and a spacious and fully restored coastal garden, all safely fenced in for your pets to also enjoy. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need and has more than enough crockery and equipment to keep the keen and not so keen chefs happy! Local major supermarkets can deliver your food order if required for your stay. The grounds are a treat, fenced in for the safety of your dog (s) and a new lilly pond has been completed Summer 2022. This area is truly beautiful for star gazing and enjoying unchanged rural life. It is an area of unspoilt natural beauty but equally it is within a short distance to the towns of Gatehouse, Kirkcudbright and Castle Douglas where everything is available. The house is fully managed and there is always someone on the end of the phone to assist if needed. The three bedrooms sleeping 5 (1 Super King, 1 Zip & Link Superking and 1 single) and the 2 ensuite bathrooms and finally a separate cloackroom are welcoming and provide everything for a wonderful holiday. The upper floor sitting room gives spectacular views over the water, and for days when you just want to chill, a full Sky TV package with sports and movies are there for your enjoyment. Within the grounds, but totally separate is a small romantic Bothy - The "Birds Nest" which sleeps 2. This can be rented as additional space or booked separately. The whole area is a magnet for visitors to enjoy walking, cycling and enjoying the peace and quiet of the area. Being in the Dark Sky area, there are wonderful stargazing opportunities.
