Pentland Shepherd Huts have 5 handcrafted shepherd huts by the Pentland hills close to Edinburgh. Each hut has an ensuite bathroom and a private outdoor area with lounge chairs, a BBQ, firepit and picnic bench. Three huts have hot tubs.

Located on a small, peaceful livery yard, surrounded by fields and hills, our luxurious shepherd huts offer a relaxing and comfortable retreat for guests to spend more time in nature. Whilst here you can meet our friendly pygmy goats and miniature Shetland ponies. We are dog friendly with lots of great walks close by.

Each of our luxury shepherd huts has a fully equipped kitchen, a king sized bed and an ensuite bathroom. Four huts also have a sofa that converts to a double bed to sleep up to 4 people making these ideal for both couples & families. Each hut has a private outdoor area with lounge chairs, a BBQ, fire pit and picnic bench. Three huts have wood-fired hot tubs with everything you'll need provided.

Our tranquil hideaway is the perfect place to slow down and breathe in the country air. When you are ready for a change of pace though Edinburgh city centre is just 13 miles away. Scotland's vibrant capital city offers world-class dining, historic sites, festivals and cultural experiences. There is something to do all year round in Edinburgh! The site is also ideally located to explore all that Midlothian, East Lothian and the Borders have to offer.
