Open from June-August each summer, Perth Youth Hostel is hosted in the modern residences of Perth College UHI, with easy access from the A9 or Perth City Centre.
In central Scotland, on the banks of the River Tay, Perth is the perfect base from which to explore everything the area has to offer. History lovers can visit Scone Palace, original home of Scotland's Stone of Destiny where 42 of Scotland's kings were crowned. If you want culture, there’s Horsecross Theatre and Perth Museum & Art Gallery. Wildlife spotters can see ospreys and red squirrels at Loch of the Lowes. Perthshire is renowned for adventure sports and, of course, whisky! The Famous Grouse Experience is in the nearby town of Crieff.
Perth Youth Hostel offers single and twin en-suite bedrooms in self-contained flats. With 4 or 5 rooms in each unit, groups can enjoy exclusive use of the flats; each has its own balcony, shared kitchen and living area. Catering options are also available. With a 24-hour reception service, unlimited onsite parking and spacious campus grounds, Perth Youth Hostel is ideal for families and groups looking for a holiday, short break or stopover. There are regular buses at the front entrance going into town.
Discounted access to the college’s new sports and leisure facilities is available to all youth hostel guests.
